17th Annual Run for Their Lives 5K
The 17th Annual Run for Their Lives is a timed charity race held on September 19, 2026 at the North Park Swimming Pool Loop, 303 Pearce Mill Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101. The course is approximately three miles and runs through tree-lined streets of North Park in northern Allegheny County, north of Pittsburgh.
The event supports awareness of bleeding disorders and funds education and advocacy programs. Both an in-person 5K and a Virtual Run for Their Lives 5K are offered; virtual participants may run a course of their choice while participating in the same fundraising and awareness efforts.
Participants registered by July 31, 2026 are eligible for a technical race shirt in their size. All participants receive a goody bag and a medal. Virtual registration includes the same shirt, goody bag, and medal; virtual runners may choose packet shipping for an additional fee or free pick-up at the WPBDF office at 433 State Avenue, Suite #4, Beaver PA 15009.
Registration fees follow a tiered schedule: Early Bird pricing is $25 through May 31, 2026; Pre-Race registration is $30 from June 1 through September 18, 2026; Race Day registration is $35.
Following the run, the event is paired with the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk, which features snacks, music, raffles, and games. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
