17th Annual Run for Their Lives 5K
The event is a timed charity 5K on September 19, 2026, held at the North Park Swimming Pool Loop, 9901 S Ridge Dr, Gibsonia, PA 15044. It raises awareness of bleeding disorders and supports education and advocacy programs run by the Western PA Bleeding Disorder Foundation.
Two race options are offered:
- 5K (approximately 3-mile course) in person
- 5K (virtual)
All participants receive a technical race t-shirt if registered by August 24, 2026, plus a goody bag and a medal. The registration fee schedule is: Early Bird $25 through May 31, 2026; Pre-Race $30 from June 1 through September 18, 2026; Race Day $35. Virtual registration is $25 and includes the same shirt, medal, and goody bag when registered by August 24. Virtual runners may choose packet mailing for an additional fee or free pick-up at the WPBDF office at 433 State Avenue, Suite 4, Beaver, PA 15009; the office hours are 9 am to 4 pm.
Following the 5K, the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk takes place with snacks, music, raffles, games, and community activities to support the foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
