Green Mile Loop Challenge
The Green Mile Loop Challenge takes place on September 12, 2026 and is the event's 10th edition. The format offers a single loop course and a six hour window for participants to run as many loops as they choose. Each loop is approximately ~2-mile long and includes about 300 feet of climb on shaded singletrack that begins at Deer Browse 2 Pavilion.
Participants tally completed loops and earn raffle tickets for prizes from local shops and restaurants. Awards are given to the runners who complete the most loops, and a post run lunch is provided for attendees. The event records loops per runner and combines climbing, repeated laps, and on-site refreshments and awards into a timed loop challenge.
