Saint Aidan Harvest Home Twilight 5k
The Saint Aidan Harvest Home Twilight event takes place in North Park at the Harmar Pavilion, situated on South Ridge Drive near the Pie Traynor Field. This athletic gathering is hosted by St. Aidan Parish and Blessed Francis Seelos Academy, with all proceeds benefiting the parish and the school.
Participants can choose from various race options:
- 5k: A wheel-measured road race consisting of two loops.
- 1 Mile: A fun run available for participants aged 15 and under.
- The Seelos Double: An option for those age 15 and under to complete both distances.
The 5k course starts and ends on South Ridge Drive. Professional timing services are provided, and results are published online following the event. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top three masters finishers over 40, and the top three handcycle finishers. Age group awards are also distributed across several categories ranging from 9 and under to over 70.
For the 1 mile fun run, awards are given to the top five overall male and female finishers, as well as the top five in age groups from 5 and under to 15. Participants under 15 who finish both the 1 mile and the 5k receive a special medal. Parking is located at the North Park Pool parking lot, followed by a walk to the Harmar Pavilion.
