Healthy Kappa 5K Run/Walk/Ride : 8th Annual
The Healthy Kappa 5K Run/Walk/Ride is an annual community event in Pittsburgh that brings together runners, walkers, and bicyclists. The event aims to create a healthy space that supports principles of diet, nutrition, and exercise and promotes healthy lifestyles. The 2026 edition is the eighth annual occurrence and benefits the Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund of Western Pennsylvania (KSEF).

Registration opens April 30, 2026 and closes September 12, 2026. Published registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K run and the 5K bike ride, $20.00 for the 1 mile walk, and no fee for the KSEF Health Symposium event. The main event address is 2795 S. Water Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
KSEF is the beneficiary and has provided over $2.7 million in financial support to approximately 160 minority college-bound students from Western Pennsylvania. In 2023, KSEF provided over $215,000 in financial support for college-bound minority students from the same region.
