Run for the Rhodos 5K
The Run for the Rhodos 5K takes place on Saturday April 25, 2026 in Hiawassee, Georgia. The event is hosted at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and Hamilton Gardens, located at 1311 Music Hall Road, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
This runner and walker friendly 5K follows a woodland trail that passes through the Rhododendron Garden while plants are in full bloom. The course is described as a garden run that immerses participants in the floral setting.
The event is presented by Hamilton Gardens of the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Net proceeds from the 2026 Rhodo Fest garden run support Hamilton Garden's mission to FUEL NATURE.
Participants who register before April 8, 2026 will receive a Rhodo Race Tee featuring BUZZ bee. Honorary finisher awards are given to the first finishing male, female, and master's finisher aged 65 and older; each receives a Hiawassee Local Love basket. First child finishers, male and female age 12 or younger, receive a Hiawassee Local Love basket plus one all day Carnival Pass for the Georgia Mountain Fair.
