Run for the Redwoods - 5K, Redwood City
Run for the Redwoods is a community 5K held at Redwood LIFE on May 20, 2026. The course follows the Bay Trail around the campus at 1300 Island Drive, Redwood City, CA 94065. The event is presented for the third year.
One hundred percent of all race entry fees will be donated to the Sempervirens Fund to support protection and permanent preservation of coast redwood forests. Fundraising information associated with the event shows $27.48 raised for the Sempervirens Fund.
Every 5K participant receives a registration packet that includes a bib, a race shirt, access to race photos, and a ticket to a pre-event warm up plus a post-event celebration with food, drinks, and music. Two entry tiers are offered: 5K Standard and 5K Deluxe. The registration page lists amounts that include processing fees as $18.04 for 5K Standard and $34.09 for 5K Deluxe. The Deluxe entry notes an increased donation to the Sempervirens Fund and a special gift from Elevate.
