Event overview
Summit Rock takes place on December 13, 2025, at Sanborn County Park in Saratoga, California (16055 Sanborn Rd). The event offers trail race distances and a remote runner option. Walkers and hikers are explicitly welcome. The half marathon is part of the Brazen Ultra Half Series and includes a "Hiker Division" for half marathon participants who expect to take more than 3.5 hours.

Course and race services
Races run on single-track trails through redwood groves in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The half marathon and 10K include ascents to peaks with views; all distances include trails with uphill, flat, and downhill sections. All races use electronic chip timing and all finishers receive custom finisher medals. Race-day photos are provided by volunteer photographers and results are posted after the event.
