Event overview
The WOKC Run for the Kids takes place on June 27, 2026, at Red Tail Pavilion, 2801 E Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX. The event features two distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The 5K entry fee is $35 and the 1 Mile Fun Run entry fee is $30. Registration pricing increases after February 26, 2026. Available registration spots were listed at the time of posting.
Logistics and race services
Event parking is free and available at Collin College across the street; there is no parking at the race start. Bag check is located near check-in on race day. Packet pickup details are listed as TBD; someone else may pick up a packet if the registrant provides that person’s first and last name and the event they are entered in. Water stations will be on the course. Medals and shirts will be provided. Restrooms and porta-potties will be available near the start/finish and on course.
Beneficiary information
The event benefits Wipe Out Kids' Cancer (WOKC). WOKC funds pediatric cancer research, operates Warrior Family Programs, and supplies Buddy Bags to DFW children hospitalized for suspected or newly diagnosed pediatric cancer; each Buddy Bag includes items such as an iPad.
