Heart of Heath 5K & 1K Fun Run
The Heart of Heath 5K & 1K Fun Run takes place on Saturday April 4, 2026 at Towne Center Park, 200 Laurence Dr, Heath, TX 75032. The event comprises multiple distances and a family-friendly atmosphere with activities for participants and spectators.
Packet pickup is available on Thursday and Friday at Playtri Rockwall, and there is onsite race day pickup. Late registration is available at packet pickup but new registrations require a mobile device and credit card; cash is not accepted. Parking information was listed as forthcoming.

The 5K uses electronic chip timing and awards are given to the top three overall plus the top three males and females in each age bracket. The family run is integrated into the 5K course and uses the same start and finish lines; the family run also has awards for top boys and girls. Additional event features include 2026 participant T-shirts while supplies last, giant games such as chess and Jenga, complimentary healthy treats, a DJ, prize drawings, Camp Gladiator, and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
