About the race
Hope Run For Hunger is a community 5K event taking place on April 3, 2027, in Plano, Texas at 5400 Windhaven Pkwy. The primary race distance is 3.1 Miles (5K). The event program also includes a kids run for ages 12 and under, an Easter egg hunt for children, family activities, and a post-race awards program.
Registration opens March 14, 2026; onsite registration will be available on event day. Published entry fees include Adults $60, Kids 12 and Under $30, and Family of 4 $99. Free entries are available for infants in strollers and for pets on leashes; participants are advised to contact the organizer for those arrangements.
Package pickup is available the day before the event at The Source of Hope, 1108 West Parker Road Suite #102, Plano, Texas 75075, with an on-site pickup option on race day. Awards will recognize the top three overall male, female, and kids finishers; medals and formal recognition are part of the awards.
Event-site amenities and rules include a water station, lunch service, a photo opportunity for participants, a prohibition on glass containers, a ban on canopies and tents on park grounds, encouragement to bring blankets or lawn chairs, and a requirement that dogs remain on leash.
