Hope Run For Hunger 5K
Hope Run For Hunger is a community run held in Plano, Texas at 5400 Windhaven Pkwy. The main event is a 5K road race of 3.1 miles. The program also includes a separate kids run for ages 12 and under and an Easter egg hunt for children that takes place immediately after the 5K. Eggs will be hidden in a designated area and will contain small prizes.
The event lists registration fees with multiple tiers: adults, children 12 and under, and a family rate for four people. Free entries are available for infants in strollers and for leashed pets; an application is required to receive these accommodations. Registration is noted to close on April 2, 2027, and onsite registration is available on the day of the event.
Packet pickup is scheduled before race day at The Source of Hope, located at 1108 West Parker Road Suite 102, Plano, Texas 75075. The event provides a water station during the activities. Rules for the venue include no glass containers, no canopies or tents on park grounds, and a request that participants avoid parking in surrounding neighborhoods. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash.
