Event Overview
The Hope Run For Hunger is a community athletics event held in Plano, Texas. The primary distance offered is a 3.1 Miles (5K) run and walk. The event route begins and ends at 5400 Windhaven Pkwy. Participants can choose between different registration categories, including options for individual adults, children aged 12 and under, and family groups. Infants in strollers and pets may enter the event at no cost.
Schedule and Activities
The event includes a structured program beginning with a dedicated kids' run for participants aged 12 and under, followed by the main 5K run and walk for adults and those aged 13 and up. After the completion of the racing segments, a lunch is served to participants. Younger attendees can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt, which occurs in a designated area and features eggs filled with various items. Other family-oriented activities are available throughout the morning.
Participant Information
Race packages, which include a swag bag, are available for collection on the day prior to the race at The Source of Hope on West Parker Road. Participants also have the option to collect their materials on the morning of the event. Onsite registration is available on the day of the race until the start of the 5K.
Recognition and Awards
