Garland Marathon : April 4-5, 2026
The Garland Marathon takes place Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5, 2026, in the DFW, TX 75043 area. The event program includes multiple race distances and combined challenge options over the two days. The event was rebranded from the Firewheel event and includes a new 1 mile option and a free Kid's Dash.

Entry, inclusion and fees
Listed entry fees include: Marathon $85, Half-Marathon $65, 10K $42, 5K $35, 1 Mile $18, and free Kid's Dash. Several events note a price increase after January 31, 2026. Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (5K, 10K, Half, Marathon, 1 Mile) and a finisher medal for those same events. The t-shirt size guarantee requires registration by March 21, 2026. The 1 Mile is an untimed event and has no age-group awards. Kid's Dash participants run free but may purchase a t-shirt and finisher medal as add-ons.
Awards, courses and volunteers
Age-group awards are given four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters categories (including 40+ and 60+ grand masters) receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. The full marathon course is four laps; the half marathon is two laps. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank-you.
