About the race
The event takes place on 11/14/2026 at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village, Omaha, and benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It is organized by Team Ethan with support from Fleet Feet and includes race and volunteer opportunities.

The 5K Run/Walk is a timed run designated for runners only. Strollers, bikes, pets, and walkers are not permitted on the 5K course. The race will be timed but not chip-timed, so participants may track their own pace. Registration for this event has a fee of $30 and opens on 10/1/2026 and closes on 11/13/2026.
The Hero Run (0.25 Mile) is an untimed fun run for young participants. All registered youth participants receive an event t-shirt. Registration for the Hero Run has a fee of $5 and follows the same open and close dates as the 5K.
Volunteer roles are available with no registration fee. Volunteer duties include check-in, course guidance, water stations, and cheering on participants. Volunteer registration opens 9/13/2026 and closes 11/13/2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
