Omaha Turkey Trot 5K
The Omaha Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for November 26, 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska. The event starts and finishes at Charles Schwab Field, 1200 Mike Fahey St., Omaha, NE 68102, and is part of the Run Omaha Race Series and the nationwide Thankful Turkey Run Walk.

The 5K is chip timed and includes fun run and kids categories. The course time limit for the 5K is 1 hour 20 minutes. Awards are given to the top three male and female participants in each age group and overall in the chip timed category. Age groups start at 10 and under and continue in five year brackets up to 70 and over. All Kids Dash participants receive a finisher award.
Event gear options include a classic t shirt or an upgrade to a thin tec soft polyester pullover. LaMar’s Donuts are provided at the finish line. Packet mailing is available for a fee of $14.99 per participant. Parking is available in Lot D at Charles Schwab Field with a parking fee collected on site.
Make A Wish Nebraska is the event charity; the organization grants roughly 110 to 115 wishes each year for children with life threatening medical conditions. On course water stations provide water. There is no gear check. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only and dogs are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
