Omaha Turkey Trot 5K
The Omaha Turkey Trot is a chip-timed 5K event in Omaha, Nebraska, held on November 26, 2026. The start and finish are at Charles Schwab Field, 1200 Mike Fahey St., Omaha, NE 68102. Parking is available at Charles Schwab Field Lot D with a fee collected on site.
Event gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgrade to a thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Participants who choose mailing for their packet pay a fee of $14.99 for mailing; packet pick-up details are posted in advance. Virtual participation is available and virtual packets are mailed 1 to 2 weeks after the event.
LaMar’s Donuts will be available at the finish line. Water stations on course provide water. There is no gear check on site. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only; dogs are not permitted. Headphones and personal audio devices are allowed but participants must remain aware of course hazards.
The event is part of the Run Omaha Race Series and the nationwide Thankful Turkey Run/Walk, with results aggregated into a national leaderboard. The race supports Make-A-Wish Nebraska; the organization grants about 110 to 115 wishes each year across the state. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall. Course time limit for the 5K is 1 hour 20 minutes.
