Omaha Turkey Trot 5K
The Omaha Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day in Omaha, Nebraska. The event centers around a course starting at 1200 Mike Fahey St. Participants can choose between timed and untimed formats for the primary distance, allowing for different approaches to the event.
The following distances are available:
- 5K (Timed and untimed options available)
- 100 meters (Kids Dash)
- 5K (Virtual option)
Specific categories are organized for younger participants. The 100 meter Kids Dash is designated for children aged 8 years and under, with all finishers receiving a ribbon. A 5K Kid's Division Fun Run is available for those aged 11 years and under; registration for this category includes an untimed bib and a donut at the finish line.
Finishers in the standard 5K events also receive donuts at the conclusion of their run or walk. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual 5K option allows participation from any location.
