Omaha Turkey Trot 5K
The Omaha Turkey Trot 5K takes place in Omaha, Nebraska on November 26, 2026. It is the 10th annual running of this event and is part of the Run Omaha Race Series and the nationwide Thankful Turkey Run/Walk.
The event is a chip timed 5K and includes a Kids Dash with a finisher award for all participants. The published course time limit for the 5K is 1 hour and 20 minutes. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall; age categories start at 10 and under and extend to 70 and over.
The start and finish are located at Charles Schwab Field, 1200 Mike Fahey St., Omaha, NE, with parking available at Lot D where a parking fee is collected. LaMar’s Donuts will be available at the finish line. Participant gear options include a classic t shirt or an upgrade to a thin tec soft polyester pullover. A packet mailing option is offered for a fee of $14.99.
Virtual participation is available; virtual packets typically arrive one to two weeks after race day. Registration policies allow transfers between distances within the same race up to three days before the event, deferrals or transfers to another All Community Events race for a fee, and bib transfers to another participant for a fee.
