Event Overview

The Run for the Health of It is an annual event presented by the Grandview Foundation. The event takes place at Hahamongna Watershed Park near Pasadena. It is described as the 4th or 5th annual run. The event raises awareness for the organization and the connection between physical and mental health, particularly within addiction recovery.

Course Information

The start and finish are located north of the Rose Bowl in the Oak Grove Park area, across from La Cañada High School. The course is a combination of road and a flat, compact trail that takes participants through the historic Devils Gate Dam and into the Hahamongna Watershed. There is one water station on the course for the 5K distance.

Distances

Participants can choose between two distances:

  • 10K Run
  • 5K Run/Walk

Both events start at the same time.

Registration and Logistics

Registration and packet pick-up open on race day. A registration fee applies. Registration includes a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Race day parking is available at the venue, Hahamongna Watershed Park, with additional free parking across the street at La Cañada High School and inside Oak Grove Park.
