Event Overview
The Conquer the Overlook 5K Run is scheduled for August 1, 2026, at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Culver City, California. The event benefits the Aztlan Athletics Foundation.
Course Details
The course is a 5K run or walk that includes a 282-step stair climb. It starts at the upper parking lot of the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook and finishes at the top of the stairs. The route offers a 360-degree view of Los Angeles. Water stations are provided along the course and at the finish line.
Awards and Amenities
Awards are given to the top overall finishers in each age division. Every participant who crosses the finish line receives a commemorative die cast medal. An Elite Invitational is part of the event, with prize money for qualified runners.
Logistics
Packet pick-up occurs on race day at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. Parking is available near the entrance on Jefferson Street. Spectators are asked not to obstruct the stairs during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
