Conquer the Overlook 5K Run
Conquer the Overlook is scheduled for August 1, 2026 at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, 6300 Hetzler Rd., Culver City, CA 90232, US. The event presents a 5 km run or walk that incorporates a 282 step stair climb as part of the mapped course. The course includes a 360 degree view of Los Angeles.
Water stations are provided on course and at the finish. Each registered finisher receives a commemorative exclusive finisher die cast medal. Awards are given to the top overall competitors in each age division.
Logistics on race day include on site packet pickup, a bag check area, limited shuttle service, and parking near the Jefferson entrance with additional limited paid parking at the visitors center. Spectators are requested not to obstruct the stairs or interfere with participants.
An Elite Invitational field is organized for prior division winners and the top ten overall fastest times from the previous year; entrants must provide verification and receive approval from the event director. Prize money for the elite field is listed for top finishers and course records for men and women are recorded for reference. The event policy states there are no refunds.
