Track Night Los Angeles
Trials of Miles will host a night of track racing under the lights at Occidental College Track in Los Angeles on 08/05/2026. The program includes children's races, mile races, an open 5K, and a separate Elite Mile with entry requirements and prize money.
Event distances and formats include:
- 400 m Kids Untimed (ages 5 and under)
- 800 m Kids Timed (ages 14 and under)
- 1 mile The Open Mile
- 5K The Open 5K
- Elite Mile qualification required for women and men
Races are organized by goal time and include pacers in every heat to assist runners in reaching target times. The Elite Mile is for athletes who have demonstrated sub 5:30 mile fitness for women and sub 4:30 mile fitness for men; prize money is noted for that race.
Registration details vary by event. Most events open registration in April 2026. Some events list registration closing on 07/02/2026, while the children's races show registration open through the event date. Fees listed in the event program range from no fee for the youngest kids race to fees for timed and open races.
