Run for the Beaches 5K & Fun Run/Walk
The event takes place at Gulf Front Park (10400 Gulf Blvd) in Treasure Island, Florida. It is set along the shoreline at low tide, which reveals a wide, hard packed beach surface used for the courses.

The 5K is a chip timed, out-and-back course. The kids Turtle Dash is a short 100 meter event for children ages 4 to 10. Registration opens April 3, 2026; for the 5K and 1 mile the registration period closes May 15, 2026. Fees listed for the 5K and 1 mile are $37.00; the kids dash is listed as free.
Event registration includes event apparel and finisher items. Stated race swag includes performance race shirts, custom bibs for some events, and finisher medals. An optional add on for kids shirts is available at checkout. A complimentary beverage is listed as part of registration.
The event states support for protection of the coastal environment and the preservation of marine life, wildlife, and seabirds. Post race activities include live music, awards, the Taste of Treasure Island with local food, and family activities hosted by nonprofit partners.
