The Run For Sight 5K is a community race held in early September 2026 in Muskegon, Michigan. The event is the 20th annual Run for Sight and benefits the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI). ABVI provides vision rehabilitation and support services and serves nearly 1,000 children and adults across Michigan each year.

Registration opens January 5, 2026. Entry options and typical fees include:

  • 5K Run/Walk : $30 (early), $35 after August 1
  • 5K Guided Run/Walk : $30
  • 5K Hand Cycle : $30
  • 1K Deck Dash Kids Run : $10 (includes T-shirt and medal)
  • Volunteer : $0

Packet pickup is available Friday (3:00–6:00 PM) at Shoreline Vision (1266 E. Sherman Blvd) and Saturday (7:00–8:15 AM) in the parking lot between the Coast Guard Station and Margaret Drake Elliot Park. T-shirt orders close the Friday of the second week in August; late registrants are not guaranteed shirts or preferred sizes. Pere Marquette Park parking fees apply: daily passes $20, season pass (non-residents) $40. Donations can be made to ABVI by check or credit card.
