Run for Reading 5k in Royal Palm Beach
The Run for Reading 5k takes place on November 7, 2026 at Commons Park in Royal Palm Beach. The event offers both an on site 5k and a virtual 5k option. Registration is open for the in person and virtual events with separate closing dates and fees.

One hundred percent of proceeds support the Imagination Library in Palm Beach County. The local program mails one book per month, free to families, for children from birth through the month of their fifth birthday, and has gifted more than 35,000 books in the county.
The event is family friendly and welcomes walkers, runners, strollers, and dogs on leashes. Teams, costumes, and themed outfits are welcome. Chip timing is provided by AccuChip.
Participants receive a custom race medal, race t-shirt, swag bag, and post-race refreshments. Overall and age group winners receive custom awards and an awards ceremony follows the event. Early packet pickup is available at Fit2Run at the Wellington Green Mall on November 5, and same day registration and packet pickup are available at Commons Park on race day. There is a book drive with donation boxes at packet pickup and the race, free books available on race day, and each participant receives a raffle ticket.
