11th Annual Run For Missions 5k

The Run For Missions 5k is a USATF-certified race held in Easley, South Carolina. The event follows an out-and-back course that begins and ends at the United Wesleyan Church located at 738 Rice Road. The route takes participants along the Doodle Trail, which is characterized as a flat and fast surface.

Participants can register for the following distance:

  • 5 km (USATF Certificate SC25005JK)

Registration includes a shirt, with options for unisex adult sizes or ladies' cuts. The organizers note that the ladies' cut tends to run small. Information regarding shirt size selection can be managed through the participant's online profile.

Awards are presented in several categories following the completion of the race. Recognition is given to the overall fastest male and female finishers. Specific prizes are also awarded to the top male and female finishers in the child category (ages 5-12) and the teenage category (ages 13-19). Furthermore, a unique "Top Dog and Owner" award is available for the fastest dog. Age group awards are provided for men and women in ten-year increments, ranging from 20-29 up to 70 and over.
