11th Annual Run For Missions 5k
The Run For Missions 5k is a running event held in Easley, South Carolina. The race takes place on the 5K Doodle Trail, which is a USATF-certified route. The course is designed as an out-and-back path that begins and ends at the United Wesleyan Church on Rice Road. The terrain is flat and paved, providing a surface suitable for participants aiming for specific time goals.
All proceeds from the event are donated to the Alabaster House in Easley. The race is open to runners and their dogs, although bicycles are not permitted on the course. Participants receive shirts as part of the event, with options for unisex adult sizes or ladies-cut styles.
Awards are presented to the fastest overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also provided for top finishers in several categories:
- 5K run
- Top male and female youth (ages 5-12)
- Top male and female teenagers (ages 13-19)
- Top dog and owner duo
- Male and female age groups from 20-29 through 70+
