Hope For Youths Trick or Trot Run
This event series takes place at Belmont Lake State Park in North Babylon, New York, with an additional virtual option. It includes multiple runs and walks organized between September 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026. Distances and formats offered combine in-person and virtual participation.
The event supports Hope For Youth’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Program (RHYS). RHYS provides Basic Center Programming and services for youth aged 12 to 17, including shelter, case management, individual counseling, family mediation, transportation, food, outreach, clothing, survival aid packages, educational assistance and advocacy, medical care coordination and referrals, linkages to community resources, living skills development, aftercare, and social and emotional development.
Entry fees vary by event: the Kids Run fee is $10, the virtual 3.1 mile option is $25, and the in-person 5K and one-mile lap events list a $30 fee. Jogging strollers are welcome. A limited number of event T-shirts are available and will be distributed on a first registered, first to receive basis.
