HALLOWEEN 5K & MONSTER DASH
The event takes place in Holbrook, NY on October 31, 2026 at 975 Main St. It includes a USATF certified 5K course described as flat, and a separate kids fun run.

- 0.25 Miles MONSTER DASH (Kids Fun Run)
Features include a Best Costume Contest with awards for Best Male and Best Female costumes. Participants who register by October 21 are guaranteed a dry-fit t-shirt; limited extra shirts are available after that date on a first-come basis. Registrants who meet the October 21 guarantee also receive a complimentary beer provided by The Irish Times Pub. Early bib pick-up and additional registration are scheduled for October 30 at The Irish Times Pub between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
5K awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top three males and females in age groups including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85 plus. Monster Dash is open to children 12 and under and all Monster Dash participants receive a finisher medal.
Registration opens August 3, 2026 and closes October 30, 2026. Entry fees for the 5K are listed as $30 with shirt guarantee and $35 day of; the Monster Dash fee is $15 with shirt guarantee and $20 day of. The event supports charitable efforts including a partnership with Team Red White and Blue and a food drive collecting non-perishable items at The Irish Times Pub on October 31; donors are entered into a raffle.
