Run for Home at Emily Murphy Park
Run for Home takes place at Emily Murphy Park in Edmonton on October 18, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and collects donations and funds to support housing programs in Edmonton's inner city.
The event is family friendly; dogs and strollers are permitted. On-site amenities include post-race snacks, prizes, swag bags and a bouncy castle. Donations collected on race day include new or used shoes, toques, mitts and winter clothing; these donations are intended for patients who need items at hospital discharge.
All proceeds go to the Affordable Housing Sustainability Fund and support housing programs serving Edmonton's inner city. Race kits are available for pickup on October 16 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the 109 Street Running Room, with additional pickup on race day starting at 12:30 PM.
