About the race
Run Without Borders 2026 is a charity run and walk held at Emily Murphy Park in Edmonton, Alberta. The event is organized by medical students at the University of Alberta to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières.
The event offers multiple distances and a youth race:
- 10 km run or walk
- 5 km run or walk
- Kids' 400 m dash
The route passes through Edmonton’s River Valley. The event program includes awards and raffle prize draws with items such as Garmin and COROS watches, ASICS gear, YETI coolers, Studio Lagree items, and local gift cards. Sponsors listed for the event include Running Room, ASICS, House of Lagree, COROS and several local partners.
Race kit pick up is available at the Running Room store at 8537 109 St NW on the day before the event. The registration page lists early bird and standard pricing periods.
