The 2027 Run for Education
The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation hosts the Run for Education on October 10, 2027 at 12601 Alcosta Boulevard, San Ramon, CA. The event includes an Expo for Education and multiple race options, plus a virtual participation option.
Race options include:
- Mini Run for ages 2 to 6.
- Friendship Run for athletes with special needs, walk run or roll.
- 1.5 Mile untimed event.
- 5K.
- 10K.
Registration details note that all pricing includes platform and credit card charges. Discounts apply beginning October 29, 2026 after Super Early Bird pricing. Students 18 and under receive a five dollar discount on the 1.5 Mile, 5K, and 10K. Registrations of four or more completed together receive a five percent group discount.
Event policies state that bibs must be worn on course and only Mini Run bib holders may use the Mini Run course. Two year old Mini Run participants may be accompanied by one parent or guardian. Participants under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Bicycles and dogs are not allowed on the course. Shirts not picked up by October 30, 2027 will be donated.
Each registration generates a fundraising page. Seventy percent of funds raised through personal pages returns to the chosen school and thirty percent supports district wide initiatives through SRVEF.
