Reindeer Run 5K Fun Run
The Reindeer Run 5K Fun Run & Walk is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026 at the Civic Center / City Hall, 34009 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, CA. The event includes a community 5K and a 5K Youth category with separate registration fees.

Medals will be presented to first, second, and third place finishers in each registration category, with awards broken down by age group and gender. Age groups are: Youth Ages 12 & Under, Ages 13–17, 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. There will also be holiday-themed prize raffles for participants after the race and prizes for best dressed in holiday attire.
Race shirts are not included in the base registration fee and will be offered as an optional add-on during registration. A limited number of shirts may be available for purchase on race day while supplies last. Pre-registration will close prior to race weekend, and walk-up registration will be available on race day.
The event will take place rain or shine, and holiday attire such as ugly sweaters, reindeer antlers, and Santa hats is encouraged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
