This event raises funds for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Global Water Ministry. The 5K follows a road course that starts from the church parking lot and runs through the gently rolling Grace Ridge neighborhood, looping through all three neighborhood phases. The fun run is held on Grace Lutheran property. The 5K is open to recreational runners and walkers as well as competitive runners.
Standard registration fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $5 for the fun run. Race day registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $5 for the fun run. Long sleeved T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by October 31.
Awards for the 5K include overall top three male and female, overall masters awards, cash prizes for top finishers, and age group awards with a sports beanie. The fun run awards include top three male and female in ages 8 and under, a cash prize for first place, and finisher medals for all fun run participants.
