Run for a Wish : event overview
The Run for a Wish is scheduled for December 13, 2025 in Ruston, LA (71270). The event was created to raise money for Make A Wish Foundation UK; 100% of proceeds will go to that charity. The course is an out-and-back loop that is partly paved and partly jeep trail and passes a water station twice. Strollers and dogs on leashes are permitted.

Packet pickup is scheduled on December 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Anytime Fitness Ruston (1223 Goodwin Road). The 10k loop includes a bathroom at the halfway point at Cook Park. Entry fees listed are $55 for the 10k, $30 for the 5k, and $20 for the 1 mile. Age group awards are offered for the 10k and 5k (brackets: U10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), plus overall male and female awards for the 10k, 5k and for the 1 mile.
