2026 Run for 102 Race to the Finish
The 12th annual Run for 102 Race to the Finish takes place on April 19, 2026, at Ogden Avenue School in La Grange, Illinois. The event benefits the PTO/PTCs for the six District 102 schools: Barnsdale Road, Congress Park, Cossitt Avenue, Forest Road, Ogden Avenue, and Park Junior High. The course starts and finishes at Ogden Avenue School and runs through the streets of La Grange Park. A post-race party with music will follow the finish.

Only K-8th graders are eligible for awards in the 1-mile fun run. Walkers are welcome; strollers and walkers are asked to stay at the back of the pack. No dogs, roller blades, bicycles, or skateboards are allowed on the course. The event uses a disposable chip timing tag attached to the race bib; runners must wear bibs on the front of their clothing for accurate timing. Smart watches and phones can interfere with the timing chip and related disputes will not be considered. Advanced packet pick-up information will be provided later. Family registration discount code "FAMILY10" applies when registering three or more family members. Volunteers are needed to help direct participants and support safety; past volunteer partners include the Lions Club of Brookfield and La Grange Park and Cycle Brookfield.
