Event Overview
Run Falmouth is a half marathon race scheduled for March 15, 2026, in Falmouth, Cornwall. It is the fifth race in the Cornwall Road Running Grand Prix Series. The race is limited to 800 participants and is currently full, with new entries being placed on a waiting list.
Course Information
The 21.1 km route is run entirely on roads. It is described as undulating and follows the coastline before heading inland.
Registration and Logistics
Registration opens on November 29, 2025, and closes on March 12, 2026, or when full. On race day, participants must collect their race number at the Princess Pavilion, Falmouth, between 8:15 AM and 9:30 AM. There will be no on-the-day entries or official baggage storage. Parking is limited, with pay-and-display options available at nearby car parks, and car sharing is encouraged.
Race Details
The race uses chip timing, with timing chips worn on the ankle and returned after finishing. The first 800 entries are guaranteed an event medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as top finishers in various age categories (Under 35, and Veterans 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, and 75+). Team awards are also presented.
Rules and Amenities
For safety reasons, as part of the Cornwall Grand Prix series, the use of MP3 players and personal audio devices is banned during the race. Dogs, wheelchairs, wheeled carriages, and cycles are also prohibited. Toilets are available at the Race HQ, and food and drink can be purchased at nearby cafés. There are no changing rooms or showers. The event is partnered with Cornwall Hospice Care, with a donation from each entry fee going to the charity.
