Sticker 5
The Sticker 5 is a 5 mile road running event that takes place in the village of Sticker, near St Austell. The course follows an undulating route along B roads and country lanes. Participants encounter a sharp climb approximately half a mile into the run, and a designated water station is positioned at the halfway point.
The race headquarters is located at Sticker AFC in Burngullow Park. Ample free parking is available for participants adjacent to the ground. The event has a total entry limit of 300 runners, and participants must be at least 15 years old on the day of the race.
The course is managed by marshals who provide guidance to runners. Due to the nature of the route, the use of portable audio devices is prohibited; failure to comply with this rule results in disqualification and the non-recording of finish times. Upon completing the run, each participant receives a free pasty.
The event permits entry transfers until early August if a runner is unable to attend. Participants are responsible for their own safety while navigating the open road course and must follow all official instructions provided by the event staff.
