Event details

Gecko Gathering - Harlyn 2026 takes place on 19 July 2026 in Cornwall, starting and finishing around Harlyn Beach, PL28 8PD. The event is organised by Purple Gecko Events. Registration closes 10 July 2026. Entry fees start from £24.00.

Race routes and distances

10.5 km Padstow to Harlyn, following the South West Coast Path.
21.1 km Half marathon between Harlyn and Padstow, following the South West Coast Path on an out-and-back course.

There is no cut off time for any distance. Medals are provided for every competitor and awards will be given to top finishers. Free race photography and personalised bibs are offered.

Timing, support and charity

The event is timed using the ST App Service and there will be no chip timing. Optional donations to Padstow Rowing Club are invited at entry; the club is fundraising for restoration work on the boat Dasher. All event queries should be directed to the organiser.
