Gecko Gathering - Harlyn 2026
Gecko Gathering - Harlyn is a coastal running event on 19 July 2026 in Cornwall, staging races between Harlyn Beach and Padstow. The event is organised by Purple Gecko Events and supports Padstow Rowing Club, which is fundraising for the restoration of the boat Dasher built in 1989.
Distances offered
- 10.5 km Padstow to Harlyn via the SWCP, registration at Padstow Rowing Club.
- 21.1 km Half Marathon Harlyn to Padstow and return via the SWCP, registration at Harlyn.
There is no cut off time for any distance. The event is timed by ST App Service and there will be no chip timing. Participants receive personalised bibs and a medal, and free race photography is provided. Awards are given to top finishers. Optional donations to Padstow Rowing Club can be made upon entry.
Registration closes on 10 July 2026. Entry fees are tiered by date: for the 10.5 km the published prices start at £24 and rise in later periods; for the half marathon the published prices start at £29 and rise in later periods.
