Run Durham Dalton Park Spring 5k 2026

The Run Durham Dalton Park Spring 5k takes place in Murton, Seaham. The event features an undulating, multi-terrain course that starts and finishes within the Nature Reserve adjacent to the Morrisons store near the Dalton Park Shopping Outlet.

Participants follow a route that combines off-road trails with tarmac paths. The initial and final 500 m sections are conducted on trail paths, while the remaining distance is on tarmac. The course is traffic-free and has been accurately measured.

5 km (minimum age 11)

The event utilizes chip timing provided by Timing4Sport, with results based on gun time as per official regulations. Distance markers are placed at every kilometer. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and have the option to purchase a race T-shirt.

Facilities at the site include a bag drop at registration, toilets located within the Outlet Centre, and water stations at the finish line. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the first male and female teams from UKA affiliated clubs.
