Run Durham Dalton Park Spring 5k - 19 April 2026

Run Durham Dalton Park Spring 5k is a traffic-free 5 kilometre road and trail event at Dalton Park, Murton, Seaham SR7 9HU. The route is accurately measured and described as undulating, combining off-road trails, tarmac paths and footpaths. The first and final 500 m are on a trail path, with the remainder on tarmac paths.

Chip timing is provided to deliver live results on the day. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an optional race T-shirt available at extra cost. Distance markers appear every kilometre and bottled water is provided at the finish.

Event facilities are based at the Dalton Park retail outlet. Registration includes bag drop, toilets within the outlet centre, changing facilities, parking and first aid. Prizes include vouchers for the first three male and female overall finishers and team prizes for UKA affiliated clubs; runners must wear a club vest to qualify for team awards. There are no age group prizes for this event.
