Course and Details
This is a junior running event with a single distance of 2 km. The course is an out-and-back route starting near the Dalton Park Shopping Outlet in Murton. The race begins and finishes in the Nature Reserve next to the Morrisons Store. The route involves both off-trail and tarmac paths: the first and last 500 meters are on a trail path, with the remainder on tarmac.
The course is multi-terrain, undulating, and traffic-free. Chip timing, provided by Timing4Sport, will be used on this accurately measured route to deliver live results.
Participant Information
The minimum age for participants is 5. Race numbers are collected on the day between 8:30 AM and the start time at the race tent in front of the Dancing Betty pub. Parking is available. Toilets are within the Outlet Centre. A water station is located at the finish, and refreshments are available. There are changing facilities and a bag drop at registration.
Entry and Prizes
Entry fees are £12.00 for both affiliated and unaffiliated runners. The entry limit is 100 participants.
All finishers will receive a bespoke medal. An optional race t-shirt is available for an extra cost. Prizes are awarded to the first three overall finishers: the first-place winner receives a £20 Run Nation voucher and a trophy, while the second and third-place finishers each receive a £10 Run Nation voucher.
