Event overview
The Newcastle-Gateshead Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and Junior Race take place on Sunday 3rd May 2026 at Gateshead International Stadium, Neilson Rd, Gateshead NE10 0EF, UK. The courses are road-closed and pass local landmarks such as Gateshead Millennium Bridge, The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, BALTIC, Tyne Bridge and Swing Bridge. Each road-closed race finishes at Gateshead International Stadium and includes a final lap on the stadium track. There is a 6 hour cut off for the marathon due to road closures. The event is presented by Nuun Hydration and held in support of The Bubble Foundation.
