Run Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
The event takes place at Dorney Lake near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire, at the site used for rowing in London 2012. The route runs beside wide water views on smooth paths and finishes beside the lake. The course is flat from start to finish and is run on road surfaces.
Available distances:
- Half Marathon: 4 laps plus U-turn each lap; elevation 27 m; road terrain.
- 10k: 2 laps; elevation 15 m; road terrain.
- 5k: 1 lap; elevation 8 m; road terrain.
The event uses chip timing that records every second. The organiser provides clear wayfinding and marshals on the course. The event village includes refreshments, free partner goodies, and post race items. Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results, and post race goodies.
This is a partner event and RunThrough memberships can be used for entry. If the event sells out no additional places will be available for members. There will be no RunThrough member desk and member bibs cannot be used. The organiser reports ongoing research into sustainability and is addressing sustainability as a priority.
