Run Dorney Lake Evening Runs 10k & 5k
The event takes place on 26 August 2026 at Dorney Lake, near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire. Dorney Lake is a purpose-built rowing lake that served as the venue for the London 2012 Olympic rowing events and provides open grounds used for running.
Distances offered:
- 10 km - Elevation 12 m, 4 laps, road
- 5 km - Elevation 6 m, 2 laps, road
The course is flat and chip timed, intended to support quick efforts and personal best attempts over the 5k and 10k distances. Results are recorded with chip timing.
Entry includes a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post-race goodies. The organiser provides marshals around the course and operates an event village with food and drink options, including free partner giveaways at the finish.
The organiser has carried out research on runner priorities and identifies sustainability as a growing focus for its events. RunThrough memberships can be used for entry, but once the event sells out no additional places will be available. There will be no RunThrough member desk at this event and member bibs cannot be used. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
