Windsor Trail Run
The Windsor Trail Run takes place in late August within the historic setting of Alexandra Gardens in Windsor. The event features a flat trail course that provides participants with views of Windsor Castle throughout the race. The routes utilize well-maintained paths, offering a scenic running experience in one of the United Kingdom's most notable royal locations.
The event offers two main race distances:
- 10k
- Half Marathon
The 10k course features a total elevation gain of 29 meters, while the Half Marathon consists of 58 meters of elevation. Both distances are set on flat trail terrain. Participants receive chip-timed results and access to free race photography. The course is supported by a team of marshals to guide runners along the well-marked routes.
The event village serves as a central hub featuring various food and drink options. Upon completing the course, runners receive post-race goodies provided by event partners. While race t-shirts are not included in the standard entry fee to support sustainability efforts, technical t-shirts with the event logo are available for separate purchase.
