Midweek Dorney Triathlon - August
The Midweek Dorney Triathlon takes place at Dorney Lake in Windsor, a flat and scenic venue previously used for Olympic events. The course features clear water for the swim and grounds that do not require racing on open roads. This event is chip-timed and designated as draft-illegal.
Participants can choose from three distinct options:
- Super Sprint: 400m swim, 10km bike, and 2.5km run.
- Sprint: 750m swim, 19km bike, and 5km run.
- Sprint Aquabike: 750m swim and 19km bike.
The event is open to entrants aged 15 and over. To participate, all athletes must hold a British Triathlon race licence, which can be obtained through annual membership or a single-use Race Pass. For those requiring equipment, wetsuit hire is available for various durations ranging from a single day to the full season.
Located off Lake End Road, the venue provides free parking for all participants. Helpers are positioned throughout the course to assist with navigation and provide encouragement across the swim, bike, and run segments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
