Run Dorney Lake takes place at the rowing venue used for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Situated near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire, the location features a purpose-built rowing lake. The event offers multiple distances on a flat, road-based course designed for chip-timed performances.
Participating runners can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon: A road course with four laps plus a U-turn each lap and 27m elevation.
- 10k: A road course consisting of two laps with 15m elevation.
- 5k: A road course consisting of one lap with 8m elevation.
The event includes an organized village area with various food and drink options. Marshals are positioned along the route to provide guidance to participants.
