Kappa Delta's Run Dahlonega 5K

The event is a 5K road race that takes place in Dahlonega, Georgia. The course passes through the rolling hills of North Georgia and the historical downtown area of Dahlonega.

The race starts and finishes at the drill field of the University of North Georgia. Race day registration and packet pick-up occur at the Rec Center. The event uses RFID chip timing.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all runners registered by March 1st. Registrations after that date receive a t-shirt while supplies last.

Awards are presented to the top overall male and female runners, the top male and female masters runners (40 and over), and the top three male and female runners in several age groups. The age groups are: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over.

Team registration is available, and teams of ten or more people receive a discounted rate.

A portion of the proceeds from this race benefits the South Enotah Child Advocacy Center and Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). The event also features a "Pinwheels for Prevention" initiative in support of PCAA.
