Marathon celebration in Armagh city (500th milestone)
This in-person marathon is organised by RUN ARMAGH and takes place in Armagh city at The Mall East on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event is part of Run Armagh's programme of charity running events that began in 2009 and includes an annual 10K in April now in its 11th year.
Registration is on the Mall at 4c Coffee Shop. The route uses a scenic 6.3m loop. An early start will be facilitated for slower runners but using the early start excludes participants from prizes on the day.
Organisers will communicate full details to registered participants before the event. A fully stocked feed station and toilet facilities will be provided. Full refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Proceeds from the event will go to local causes. The event is held in person and runs over seven hours.
