Run Aintree Half Marathon, 10K & 5K : February 2026
Run Aintree takes place at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool and offers three race distances on a road course. The course is flat and measured, with each kilometre marked by distance flags and marshals positioned to guide and encourage participants. The event supports University Hospitals of Liverpool Charity.
Distances run as laps around the racecourse:
- 5K, 1 lap, road, flat
- 10K, 2 laps, road, flat
- Half Marathon, 4 laps, road, flat
Entries include a themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, water and post race goodies. The event village provides food and drink options and additional freebies from event partners. An optional event t-shirt is available at a discounted price when purchased as part of entry through the organiser’s kit partner.
Entry fees listed for the event are £30 for the 5K, £32 for the 10K, £34 for the half marathon, and a RunThrough Foundation place at £80. Route and event logistics centre on the Aintree Racecourse location on Ormskirk Road, Liverpool L9 5AS, with marshals and accurately marked laps used to keep participants on course.
