Foreshore Adventure Run
Foreshore Adventure Run is a beachfront obstacle course event held at Pere Marquette Beach Park in Muskegon, MI on May 16, 2026. The main course is a 5k featuring more than 20 obstacles set along the shore of Lake Michigan. The event supports Muskegon Rescue Mission and its work to provide food, shelter and related services to people experiencing homelessness in West Michigan.
Participants may register as individuals or as teams. The event uses scheduled waves to manage course flow and reduce lines at obstacles; waves include both competitive and non-competitive options. Competitive waves are scheduled to allow racers to compete without extra traffic on the course. All runners are chip timed in the listed race options.
The event offers a Fun Run format that provides the same course experience without the focus on competition; participants in this option receive a performance shirt and a completion medal. The Individual Competitive option includes age-category awards for the top three finishers and unique awards for overall and masters male and female winners. A Kid’s Zone provides a smaller, child-friendly version of the course; each child receives a medal and treats, a parent or guardian must accompany children, and no preregistration is required. All participants listed for timed options receive an A-4 performance shirt and a completion medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
