Run 4 Kerri 4 Miler
The Run 4 Kerri 4 Miler is a nonprofit charity running event held on August 2, 2026, at 380 Matunuck Beach Road in Wakefield, Rhode Island. The event features a 4 mile race and is organized to raise funds for scholarships and local youth programs. It marks the 25th anniversary of the passing of the person the event honors.
Race awards include cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers: $200, $100, and $50. The first master in each gender receives $50 and remains eligible for overall prizes. Tour de France style sprint bonuses award $50 to the first male and female at mile 1, and $25 to the first male and female at mile 2 and mile 3. A new course record bonus of $100 is available for both male and female records. Current course records are 18:44 for the men (2014) and 21:30 for the women (2015).
Awards are also given to the top three finishers in each age division: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 plus. All entrants are eligible for prize drawings. Light refreshments are provided after the race and T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 400 pre-registered runners and walkers. Registration opens April 11, 2026 and closes July 29, 2026.
