11th Annual Broad Rock Middle School Coyote Chase 5k & Fun Run!

The Broad Rock Middle School Coyote Chase is a fundraiser and community running event for students of Broad Rock Middle School. It is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Wakefield, Rhode Island, at 351 Broad Rock Road, Wakefield, RI 02879.

1 Mile Fun Run

The event includes a 5K and a 1 mile fun run. Registration opens December 24, 2025. Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. There is a special discount for Broad Rock Middle School (BRMS) students only. Timing and scoring are provided by The EMPIRE Timing Co.

Awards for the 5K include a fastest-team prize (minimum five athletes per team) and male and female age-group awards for the ranges 1-10, 11-19, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, and 50+. The first 50 registrants in the 1 Mile Fun Run will receive a participation ribbon. Course maps are available as a downloadable PDF. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
