Rum River Festival 2026
Rum River Festival runs June 4 to June 7, 2026, in Princeton, Minnesota. The multi‑day community event returns to downtown Princeton and nearby parks and parking areas. Activities are scheduled across several locations including Riverside Park, the Princeton Mall parking lot, the Old National Bank parking lot, and the Mille Lacs County Fairgrounds.
The program includes a range of events across the four days. On Thursday there is a citywide garage sale, a parade, and the start of a medallion hunt with a daily clue posted on the chamber Facebook page until the medallion is found. Friday features vendors, a polka band, bouncy houses, and a Duck Drop at Riverside Park. Saturday includes the 5K Run/Walk, a farmers market in the Old National Bank parking lot, vendors and food trucks across the street, bouncy houses and a foam party. Sunday offerings include a breakfast served by the Princeton Lions Club and a vendor fair at the fairgrounds.
The festival also lists various food truck vendors and community activities such as a design contest, a duck‑decorating contest, and alumni reunion gatherings.
