TROT O'GOLD 5K for CAER
TROT O'GOLD is a 5k fun run and walk held on March 14, 2026 at CAER Food Shelf, 12621 Elk Lake Road Northwest, Elk River, MN. The event is organized as a fundraiser for CAER Food Shelf; proceeds are directed to the food shelf.
Registration is tiered and the listed prices include the registration amount plus RaceRoster platform fees, credit card fees, and tax. Day of registration is available for a set fee payable by cash or online. Participants who register by March 1, 2026 receive the event T shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for later registrations.
The course is an out and back route; participants are asked to stay to the right of the path and runners line up first. Water is provided at the turnaround point, with additional water and snacks at the finish area inside CAER. Restrooms are available inside CAER and portable restrooms will be located in the CAER parking lot.
Parking for participants is at Meadowvale Elementary; signage will direct drivers and a turn at Vernon Street should be used because the turn at Watson will be closed. A costume contest and photo area are part of the event, with a green carpet in the CAER lobby for contestants. As posted, the event listing shows 14 participants and $54.10 raised for CAER.
