Event Overview
The Zimmerman Wild West 5K is a run/walk event supporting youth athletics and mental health awareness. The event is organized by Zimmerman Cross Country in partnership with Main Street Family Services, a mental health and wellness organization.

Course & Location
The race takes place on May 23rd during the Zimmerman Wild West Celebration. The course is a scenic trail through Grams Regional Park and along Lake Fremont. Both the 5K and the Kids Fun Run start at the Grams Regional Park Pavilion. A water station is located near the halfway point of the course.
Awards & Details
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in the age categories 0-29, 30-49, and 50+. All Kids Fun Run participants receive a ribbon. The event does not use chip timing.
After the race, there is a prize drawing for participants. Raffle tickets are also sold for a separate drawing with larger prizes. The event coincides with the Zimmerman Wild West Days festivities, including a parade.
Registration & Logistics
Pre-registration closes on May 22nd. Race day registration and packet pickup begin at 8:00 AM. The first 200 registrants receive a t-shirt. In case of cancellation due to inclement weather, no refunds are given.
