Zimmerman Wild West 5K
The Zimmerman Wild West 5K takes place on May 23, 2026, at Grams Regional Park in Zimmerman, Minnesota. The event is presented in partnership with Zimmerman Cross Country and Main Street Family Services to support youth athletes and to promote mental health awareness and well being.
The 5K follows a scenic trail through Grams Regional Park and along Lake Fremont. Both the 5K and the Kids Fun Run start at the Grams Regional Park Pavilion. A water station is located near the halfway point. A virtual 5K option is available and includes an option to receive a t shirt.
Event distances include:
- 5K main run and walk
- 0.5 mile Kids Fun Run with T shirt option
- Virtual 5K with T shirt option
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in the categories 0-29, 30-49, and 50+. Ribbons are provided to all Kid Fun Run participants. There is no chip timing. After the races there will be a prize drawing and a raffle; raffle tickets will be sold and winners must be present to win.
Registration fees listed are: 5K $35, Kids Fun Run $15 with t shirt and $5 without, Virtual 5K $15. Pre registration closes May 22. No refunds will be given in case of cancellation due to inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
