Ruidoso Runfest 2026
Ruidoso Runfest is a two day running event held in Fort Stanton, New Mexico, hosted by the Village of Ruidoso Parks & Recreation department. The weekend combines road races with live music, food trucks, and a beer garden operated by Downshift Brewing Company. Packet pickup and Friday activities are centered at Wingfield Park; Saturday races start and finish at Enchanted Vines by Noisy Water.
The program includes a Friday evening 5K and Kids 1K with post-race awards, pizza provided by Pizza Hut, and a beer garden at the Wingfield Park Pavilion. Saturday features a marathon, half marathon, and the Bluebird Running Co. State-Forty-Seven 47K with an optional 3K loop to complete a 50K. The 47K/50K field is limited to the first 75 registrants. All race participants receive a commemorative medal and custom shirt; age-group and overall awards are offered for eligible events. State-Forty-Seven finishers receive distinct swag including a long-sleeved shirt, trucker cap, and a custom 47K medal; a 50K charm is available for those who complete the extra loop.
Additional event details include post-race showers at the Ruidoso Athletic Club, post-race specials for participants including $5 beer, wine, and cider selections plus homemade sandwiches, and a guaranteed T-shirt size for registrations completed by midnight on September 7th.
