Ruidoso RunFest
Ruidoso RunFest is a two-day running event on September 18 to 19, 2026 in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The event, formerly known as Ruidoso Marathon Weekend, centers on Wingfield Park and uses Fort Stanton as a start location for the longer races. It combines road races with a downtown festival atmosphere.

Friday evening features the Pizza Hut 5K and a Kids 1K at Wingfield Park. The park serves as a finish area and gathering place with live music, a finish line celebration, post-race pizza, and an evening beer garden.
Saturday hosts the weekend's headline races with starts at Fort Stanton (Museum). The finish area and nearby Midtown streets present awards ceremonies throughout the day, live music, food trucks, a beer garden hosted by Downshift Brewing Company, and a live bear carving demonstration.
